About Us

Laurel Weber Snyder

Owner, Well Spoken….Committed to our clients' speaking success
Laurel offers more than 25 years of experience coaching executives, medical thought leaders, attorneys, educators and other professionals to deliver powerful, energizing, and memorable presentations.
Required to interview many medical researchers and corporate spokespeople about their work during a stint as corporate communications manager for a global group of laboratories, the need for public speaking training surfaced.  The value of her results quickly became evident as co-workers and managers alike sought her out for public speaking skills “upgrades” and the idea for creating Well Spoken was born!
An award-winning producer and on-camera host and interviewer, Laurel possesses a wealth of media knowledge and expertise.  Having worked in a variety of settings from broadcast and cable to corporate venues, she understands how to craft a memorable message and help her clients to effectively deliver it for on camera, print and live Q&A sessions.
Laurel strives to help people use their natural talents to discover, develop and utilize their own unique speaking style and presence. She employs a range of evidence-based public speaking techniques and strategies based on the specific needs and goals of each client.
In addition to all levels of corporate employees, her current client base also includes politicians in need of message development and media training; high school students who require college interview skills and recent college grads and professionals whom she teaches to “ace” their interviews.
She has worked for such clients as Janssen Pharmaceuticals, Merck Pharmaceuticals, Novartis, Medco, Schering Plough, AT&T, the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Atlantic Health Systems, and Quest Diagnostics, Commcore Strategies among others.
A strong believer in the power of communications to effect long-term change, Laurel is just completing a two-year stint as Co-VP Programs for the Association of Women in Communications (AWC), NJ chapter.  In addition to co-leading her committee’s wide variety of successful programming, she created the first-ever “Women Who Will” award to recognize female communication leaders who have made outstanding contributions to their field along with helping others using their professional skills. Laurel was recently recognized by the national office of Women in Communications for bringing in more new members to AWC than any other member nationwide.
